Andreas Haupt is a postdoctoral Fellow with the Institute for Human-Centered AI and the Digital Economy Lab at Stanford University, where he works on the interaction of humans and machine learning systems, primarily using techniques from microeconomics, mechanism design and reinforcement learning. He holds degrees in Mathematics (M.Sc.), Economics (M.Sc.) and Computer Science (B.Sc.) from European universities, and a Ph.D. from MIT’s CSAIL. He has worked for digital regulators for the European Union and on the US federal level, and as a mathematics high school teacher.
